Now in a private collection.
Another one is available although it is slightly different. Email for photos.
The round clapper seen near the bottom of the photo is normally swung by a windcatcher plate. This plate was removed and now the clapper is rotated by a brass machined shaft assembly connected to a gear motor inside the green glass cover.
When the outside pushbutton or actuator is activated by a visitor, the clapper
is rotated and a mellow chiming sound is heard.
Size: 7" diameter x 44 inches total height to chain joint.
Materials used for this project:Brass, aluminum, steel, poplar, glass, and plastic.
$400 complete with choice of actuator (except for Alpine Bell Ringer, $100 extra).
